AeroGuard Partners with Air New Zealand to Professionally Train Pilot Cadets
Air New Zealand has partnered with AeroGuard Flight Training Center as their pilot training provider for their Mangōpare Air New Zealand Pilot Cadetship.
Within this program, AeroGuard provides Air New Zealand with a beginning-to-end flight training program for their cadet pilots to become professional airline pilots, fully prepared to fly for Air New Zealand.
Air New Zealand has developed this program to provide a direct path for citizens of New Zealand to become successful pilots and leaders in the industry and establish inspiring careers for the airline. Cadets selected for the program will come to AeroGuard’s Phoenix, Arizona campus where they will benefit from high-quality flight training, ideal and consistent flying weather all year round, and extensive resources to keep cadets progressing, learning, and building the foundation for their future careers.

Complete Beginning to End Program for Cadet Success
To provide cadets with a direct path to their future careers and a seamless transition to becoming professional pilots, Air New Zealand and AeroGuard have also partnered with Ansett Aviation Training, a leader in simulator training for Cadets’ final airline preparation.
Together with Ansett Aviation Training, AeroGuard will offer Air New Zealand an end-to-end solution for their cadet training programs – starting from the recruitment phase, continuing through ab initio training, simulator training, and their type rating.
Within this end-to-end program, cadets will complete their ground school and flight training with AeroGuard, obtaining the necessary licenses and certifications to become commercial pilots. Once they’ve completed their training with AeroGuard, cadets will conduct their final simulator training with Ansett before returning to Air New Zealand as licensed airline pilots, ready for long and successful careers with the leading airline.
